About Me

I studied psychology later in life, after completing a master’s degree in biological sciences and experiencing many adventures into self and the world. My first experience with therapy in young adulthood played a pivotal role in my own healing journey and shaped my deep personal value for psychotherapy.

I am a warm person by nature and aim to make therapy a safe and nurturing passage for you to go at your own pace and explore your inner world. I value creativity and thinking out of the box, and if your therapy calls you here, I will meet you where you are. I embrace humour in life, but I am also unafraid to sit with the hard, gruelling and relentless darkness that life can bring. As the saying goes “those who know great joy know despair”.

My hope is that you feel comfortable being your authentic self with me. I too am a flawed person navigating the human experience, and I strive to create non-judgemental relationships with my clients. No fantasy, thought, or feeling is too strange, dark or random for us to be curious about and process together. Shame often acts as a barrier to healing. Therapy is confidential, and it is both my ethical and legal obligation, as well as my personal commitment, to keep our sessions private and safe.
